Anna Parkinson BA(Hons), PG Dip SpLD, AMBDA
As an Assessor and Teacher I specialise in working with students who are having difficulties with learning. Over the years I have taught in schools and colleges and worked with everyone from primary age children to adults, in both voluntary and professional capacities.
I aim to help people who are having problems with the basic building blocks of learning: like reading, writing, working with numbers and studying effectively; and some of the more advanced study skills required in further and higher education. I'm a part-time study skills tutor at the University of Bath.
I assess students to accurately identify their learning strengths and weaknesses, and make suggestions about how they can be helped and supported at school, college or university.
My reports are easy to read, even if you are not a dyslexia expert, and they can be used to apply for extra time (concessions) in exams.
